Christopher R. Dean
is a senior trial attorney who is a graduate of Ithaca College
where he received his Bachelors of Science degree in 1985.
He is also a graduate of St. John’s University School
of Law, where he received his juris doctorate in 1991. Mr.
Dean was admitted to practice law in the State of New York
in 1992 and Eastern and Southern District Federal Court in
1994.
Mr. Dean began his legal career in 1991 initially doing defense
work for Langan & Levy in Manhattan. Since that time he
has gained an outstanding reputation for trying plaintiff’s
cases in all facets of negligence including Medical Malpractice,
Labor Law, Premises and Motor Vehicle cases. Time and time
again Mr. Dean has obtained seven figure verdicts and settlements
for his clients.

that Mr. Dean is associated with.
Mr. Dean is the senior trial attorney trying all negligence
cases as well as heading up the firms medical malpractice
division. He has been practicing law for almost 20 years and

life. His inspiration comes from decades of working closely
with his father and mentor, David J. Dean, on cases such as
the Agent Orange Class Action Litigation and the 1993 World
Trade Center Case.
Michael D. Zimler
is a senior associate who received his Bachelors of Arts degree
at Columbia University, his Masters at Waldorf Institute/Adelphi
and his juris doctorate at the University of Wisconsin. He
was admitted to the State Bar of New York in 1980.
Michael is a member of the Nassau County Bar Association,
National Organization of Social Security Claimant Representatives,
Zen Studies Society and Wincoma Association.
Michael works exclusively within the firm’s Social Security
Disability department. Michael has over 30 years of unrivaled
success representing injured clients before the Social Security
Administration.
Keri A. Wehrheim
is a graduate of Providence College where she received her
Bachelors of Arts degree in 2001 and is a graduate of St.
John’s University School of Law where she received her
juris doctorate in 2004. She was admitted to practice law
in the State of New York in 2005 and the Eastern District
Federal Court in 2007.
Keri joined the law firm of Dell & Little, L.L.P. in 2004
after receiving her law degree from St. John’s University.
She heads the firm’s motion and Appellate practice department
and her responsibilities include tracking the deadlines for
all motions, opposing all substantive and procedural motions,
as well as preparing a majority of the firm’s affirmative
summary judgment motions. She heads the firm’s Appellate
practice department and has drafted and argued appeals in
the First and Second Department of the New York State Appellate
Division. Keri also works hand-in-hand with the firm’s
trial department and helps it with any necessary legal research
and the preparation of motions in limine for each of the trial
attorneys.
Jay J. Massaro
graduated Chaminade high school in 1997. After high school
Jay attended SUNY New Paltz and graduated in 2001 and then
attended Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law where he received
his juris doctorate in 2004. Jay was admitted to practice
law in the State of New York in 2005. Jay was second in class
after his first year of Law School and invited to join the
Law Review.
Jay grew up in North Bellmore, New York and is 1 of 8 children.
Jay now resides in Massapequa with his wife, son and daughter.
He enjoys being a good father.
Jay is a litigator in the fields of personal injury, medical
malpractice, labor law and motor vehicle accidents.
Jay is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the
American Association of Justice and the Nassau County Bar
Association.
Christopher J. Pogan
is a graduate of Adelphi University Honors College where he
received his Bachelors of Business Administration Cum Laude
in May of 2005. He also is a graduate of St. John’s
University School of Law and received his juris doctorate
in May of 2008. Christopher was admitted to the State Bar
of New York in 2009 and the United States District Court for
the Eastern and Southern District of New York in 2010.
Christopher grew up in Hicksville, New York and graduated
from Hicksville High School as part of the Class of 2001.
He attended Adelphi University Honors College in Garden City,
New York and was awarded the Provost Scholarship. While attending
Adelphi University, he interned for former Nassau County Comptroller
Howard Weitzman until matriculating into St. John’s
Law School in 2005. Beginning in May of 2007, and while studying
law at St. John’s University, he worked as a legal intern
at Dell & Little, L.L.P. Following graduation from St.
John’s Law School and upon admission to the State Bar
of New York, Christopher was hired as a full time associate
with the firm. He has been a member of Dell, Little, Trovato
& Vecere, L.L.P. since its formation in January 2009.
Christopher is a member of the New York State Bar Association
and the Nassau County Bar Association.
Christopher conducts client interviews upon intake and maintains
close client contact. He represents clients at conferences
and mediations on personal injury matters in Eastern and Southern
District Court, Supreme Courts in Nassau, Suffolk, Queens,
Kings, New York, Bronx and Westchester Counties. He prepares
clients for depositions and defends depositions. Christopher
conducts defendant’s depositions as well as engages
in affirmative motion practice and related oral argument before
the Courts.
Joëll K. Percy
completed her undergraduate education at Columbia University where she earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree. She received her juris doctorate at St. John's University School of Law. She was admitted to practice law in 2007.
Joëll previously represented insurance carriers, third party administrators, and self-insured entities before Administrative Law Judges in hearing locations such as Riverhead, Hauppauge, Hempstead, Jamaica, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Staten Island, Yonkers, White Plains, Peekskill, and New City. She has also attended medical arbitration hearings on behalf of insurance carriers, third party administrators, and self- insured entities before the Nassau County Medical Society and the Suffolk County Medical Society. She has drafted Applications for Review, Applications for Full Board Review, hearing reports, deposition reports, written summations, correspondence to clients, Section 32 settlement agreements, WISC stipulations in all matters of workers' compensation.
Joëll has joined the Workers' Compensation practice at Dell, Little, Trovato & Vecere. She is involved in negotiating WISC and Section 32 settlements, preparing clients to testify, and taking lay, client, and medical testimony on various issues of New York Workers’ Compensation matters. She has experience in various issues of New York Workers’ Compensation Law including but not limited to issues of controversy (C-7 issues), degree of disability, further causally related disability, classification, schedule loss of use, apportionment, Section 15-8(d), Section 25A, Section 114A, and medical objections.
Adam J. Lowenstein
is a graduate of Hofstra University where he received his
Bachelors of Business Administration in 2005 and is a graduate
of Hofstra University School of Law where he received his
juris doctorate in 2009. Adam was admitted to practice law
in the courts of the State of New York in May of 2010.
Adam is a member of the Nassau County Bar Association, New
York State Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
Adam is an associate attorney who represents injured clients
in relation to all workers’ compensation matters.
James V. Durgana
is a graduate of Boston College in 2004 and a graduate of Villanova University School of law where he received his juris doctorate in 2008. James was admitted to practice law in the courts of the State of New York in January of 2009.
James lives in Long Island City and enjoys playing softball and football on the weekends. He also likes spending time with his family in New Jersey.
James is a member of the Nassau Bar Association where he mentors a program working with the youth. He is also a member of the New York Bar Association and the New Jersey Bar Association.

In 2008, James received the Dorothy Day Award for public service where he volunteered in New Orleans after hurricane Katrina given by Villanova University School of Law.
