The partners of Dell, Little, Trovato & Vecere, L.L.P. have continuously spent their careers dedicated to representing injured clients. Together, they have over fifty (50) years of collective experience.
Joseph G. Dell
is a graduate of St. John’s University receiving his Bachelors of Science degree with honors in 1988. He then graduated from St. John’s University’s School of Law in 1991. Mr. Dell was admitted to practice law in the State of New York and the New York Federal Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts in 1992.
Mr. Dell is one of the founding partners of the firm and is the partner in charge of the personal injury trial department. Mr. Dell is the senior trial partner of the firm.
Mr. Dell is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum; the Nassau-Suffolk Trial Lawyers Association, The Southern Poverty Law Center and the St. John’s University School of Law Alumni Association. Mr. Dell is a past Board member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association and is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America.
In addition to being the partner in charge of the trial department,
Mr. Dell is responsible for overseeing every case that goes
to trial at the firm. The vast majority of Mr. Dell’s
time is spent trying cases for our clients as well as being
available for every client of the firm, as well as other members
of the firm.
Over the past twenty years, Mr. Dell has obtained verdicts and settlements for clients totaling in hundreds of millions of dollars. Mr. Dell has had his verdicts published in the New York Law Journal as well as the New York Jury Verdict Reporter. Mr. Dell believes that every person who is injured due to the negligence of another person’s product or company should receive the most zealous representation.
Mr. Dell received millions of dollars for clients injured by defective products, construction accidents, motor vehicle accidents as well as trip and fall accidents.

Melanie Little
received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration
from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1988. She also
received her juris doctorate from the University of Denver
in 1991. Melanie was admitted to practice in New York State
and Federal Courts in 1992.
Prior to founding Dell, Little, Trovato & Vecere, L.L.P.,
Melanie was a founding partner of Dell & Little, L.L.P.
in 1994 which she formed with her childhood friend, Joseph
Dell. Together they have over 40 years of experience fighting
for the rights of injured plaintiffs. She is a mother of 5
and resides with her husband and children in Northport, New
York.
Melanie is a member of the Suffolk County Bar Association
and the Nassau-Suffolk Trial Lawyers Association.
Melanie is the managing partner of Dell, Little, Trovato &
Vecere, L.L.P. who deals with the day to day operations of
the firm and is the head of the firm’s personal injury
settlement department.
In addition, Melanie has been fighting for victims’
rights since 1992. She gained notoriety as lead counsel for
over 30 victims of sexual abuse by Long Island clergy in 2002.
She has appeared on ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, various radio stations
and “Good Morning America”.
Andrew P. Vecere
is a graduate of James Madison University and of St. John’s
University School of Law. He received his juris doctorate
in 1998. Andrew was admitted to practice law in the courts
of the State of New York in 1999. Andrew is an active member
in the Suffolk County Bar Association, the Nassau County Bar
Association, the Injured Workers’ Bar Association and
the St. John’s School of Law Alumni Association. Mr.
Vecere is the partner in charge of the law firm’s workers’
compensation, social security and disability retirement department.
George C. Trovato,
Jr., one of our founding partners, passed away on
November 16, 2010 at the young age of 39. Our firm continues
to bear his name, as he was instrumental in our formation.
George’s dedication, compassion and zealousness for
our clients lives on through the firm’s philosophy,
and dedication to our clients.
